Deadline for Industrial and Engineering Scholarships
A total of 100 full scholarships are being offered for new students enrolling in one of the college's Industrial and Engineering Technology programs. The deadline for these scholarships is August 15, 2008.
The criteria for this scholarship includes:
1. Be a resident of Lee, Clarendon, Sumter, or Kershaw County
2. Be a high school graduate or possess a GED
3. Register for at least 6 hours of course credit
4. Complete the FAFSA form for financial aid & the CCTC Scholarship Application
5. Enter an Industrial & Engineering Technology Division certificate, diploma, or degree program of study
6. Maintain a 2.0 GPA to retain the scholarship for the second semester
Eligible programs in the Industrial & Engineering Technology Programs include:
1. Automotive Mechanics Diploma
2. Automotive Repair Certificate
3. Advanced Automotive Mechanics Certificate
4. Basic Air Conditioning and Heating Certificate
5. Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning Certificate
6. Electronics Technology Associate Degree
7. Industrial Electricity/Electronics Certificate
8. Engineering Graphics Technology Associate Degree
9. Engineering Graphics Diploma
10. General Technology Associate Degree
11. Industrial Maintenance Certificate
12. Machine Tool Technology Diploma
13. Advanced Machine Tool Certificate
14. Machine Tool Operator Certificate
15. Welding Certificate
16. Natural Resources Management Associate Degree
17. Geographic Information Systems Operator Certificate
18. Environmental Engineering Technology Associate Degree
19. Water Operator Certificate
20. Waste Water Operator Certificate
