TRiO hosts Open House
Are you interested in academic assistance, counseling service, financial aid assistance, campus tours, or cultural events? Then TRiO may be the program for you. TRiO Student Support Services will be hosting an Open House on September 2, 2009 for prospective members of the program. It will be held on the main campus of Central Carolina Technical College at 1:00pm in building 100, room 102. Come to learn more about what this program does and how it supports its members. Get a chance to talk with the staff members and some of the current students. Light refreshments will be served.TRiO is a federally funded post-secondary education program designed to provide academic assistance and support to Central Carolina Technical College students who meet the eligibility requirements. Federal guidelines direct the program toward students who are from low-income families, first-generation college students and students with disabilities. This program is offered free of charge to participants.
