DESCRIPTION:
Facilitates the mandatory asynchronous orientation sessions for students, coordinating between departments to ensure efficient implementation. Maintain comprehensive orientation course materials, including development of instructional videos, presentations, and written guides as needed. Collaborates with various Student Services areas, Distance Education, and ILT to ensure seamless transition for newly enrolled students into orientation course. Works with Distance Education to aid and support students during the orientation period, addressing inquiries related to course navigation, communication platforms, and academic expectations. Communicates changes and progress to faculty, staff, and students. Ensures relevant training sessions are conducted for faculty and staff involved in the QEP initiatives. Reviews progress reports on each QEP goal regularly. Monitors student engagement and progress throughout the orientation course, identifying and addressing any challenges or barriers to participation. Maintains accurate records of student participation and completion of the orientation course, generating reports as needed for administrative purposes. Maintains detailed documentation of QEP initiative, strategies, and outcomes. Prepares regular reports for college administration and accreditation bodies. Schedules periodic reviews to assess the overall effectiveness of the QEP. Incorporates feedback from students, faculty, and staff for continuous improvement. Serves as a liaison between students and relevant college departments, advocating for student needs and promoting a positive learning experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience.
SALARY:
$45,530 – $50,000.
